In the My HELM Teens Workshop, students will dive into the world of mechanical engineering, honing their problem-solving skills using advanced math and physics concepts. Working in groups, they will enhance their building abilities by constructing intricate models that challenge their understanding of engineering principles. This workshop offers an in-depth exploration of mechanical engineering, allowing students to apply their knowledge through the creation of exciting, functional models.
Each session introduces a new machine for students to build, analyzing its operation from various angles, such as gear ratios and mechanical efficiency. By the end of the program, participants will have developed a robust set of skills in Science, Technology, Mechanical Engineering, and Math (STEM), equipping them with the tools needed for future success in these fields.
