Paddle Pros: Fun Ping Pong Workshop for Kids (8-11 years)
Welcome to Paddle Pros, where the exciting world of ping pong comes alive in a workshop designed specifically for kids aged 8 to 11 years! Our program aims to ignite a passion for table tennis through engaging activities, skill-building exercises, and friendly competition, creating an environment where kids can have a blast while mastering the art of the paddle.
Key Features:
– Introduction to Table Tennis: Paddle Pros offers a welcoming introduction to the fundamentals of table tennis. Kids will learn the basics of grip, stance, and ball control through fun and interactive drills.
– Friendly Matches: The workshop includes opportunities for friendly matches and mini-tournaments, allowing kids to apply their newly acquired skills in a playful and supportive atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on good sportsmanship and enjoying the game.
– Footwork and Coordination: Ping pong is not just about the hands—it’s about swift footwork and keen coordination. Paddle Pros incorporates activities to improve these skills, ensuring that kids become well-rounded players on the table.
– Team Building: Paddle Pros emphasises the importance of teamwork. Kids will engage in doubles matches, cooperative drills, and team challenges to foster a sense of camaraderie and collaboration.
Duration and Schedule:
Paddle Pros spans 12 weeks on [Wednesday from 12pm to 1pm. The schedule is thoughtfully crafted to balance skill-building sessions, friendly matches, and breaks to keep the energy levels high.
Join us at Paddle Pros, where every rally is a chance for laughter, improvement, and a love for the game of ping pong!
We ask your child/teen to bring the following to all workshops:
* Pens & pencils as well as sharpeners and rubbers
* Note book
* Water bottle
* Snacks for breaks (no sweets please)
We also ask your child/teen to bring the following club specific items:
* Comfortable and appropriate clothes and footwear for workout/gym use

Max Watson is a multi-instrumentalist with experience in a range of music avenues including artist production, songwriting, event management, and live sound engineering, and has been lucky enough to perform at a variety of festivals and shows around the world. Max was home educated, giving him the time and freedom to focus on music, quickly realising that this was the career path for him. This led to university where he graduated with a first class degree and an MA in music. Max has since found his passion for teaching, teaching instrumental lessons with a focus on students with additional educational needs, and running a saturday band club, giving students the tools they need to write, records and perform their own original musicView all posts
